We're hiring a Software Engineer Intern.
As an early engineering intern, you'll work alongside our founding team to build AI-powered software used by real organizations solving real problems. You'll contribute to production systems, gain exposure across the engineering stack, and help shape products that customers rely on every day.
You'll work on everything from AI applications and backend services to integrations, developer tooling, and product features. Along the way, you'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, learn how AI systems are built and deployed, and see your work make an immediate impact.
We're a small, fast-moving team. We learn quickly, ship quickly, and continuously adapt based on customer feedback. If you're excited to learn, enjoy solving challenging problems, and want hands-on experience building real software, you'll feel at home here.
You'll work closely with our engineering team to build AI-powered products and production software for customers in regulated industries. You'll contribute to customer-facing projects, help prototype new ideas, improve internal tools, and gain experience working across the software development lifecycle.
Throughout your internship, you'll collaborate with engineers and customers, receive mentorship, and develop practical experience building reliable, production-quality systems.
Soren is the AI transformation partner for regulated industries.
We work with organizations that operate in highly regulated environments to deploy secure, production-grade AI systems.
Rather than forcing organizations to change how they work, we build AI around their existing workflows, institutional knowledge, and security requirements. We develop custom AI agents, intelligent automations, and enterprise AI infrastructure that integrate seamlessly into how teams already operate.
Our goal is simple: make AI genuinely useful by solving economically meaningful problems.
We're entering a once-in-a-generation shift in how knowledge work gets done.
For years, organizations have invested heavily in AI with relatively modest returns. In many cases, the technology wasn't the problem—the implementation was. Existing AI tools often require people to change established workflows or adapt years of expertise to generic software.
We believe the opposite approach is the future.
Instead of asking people to work like AI, we build AI that works like people.
By deeply understanding how organizations operate, we create systems that augment existing expertise rather than replace it. The result is software that people actually adopt, trust, and rely on every day.
As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful engineering challenges, collaborate directly with experienced engineers, and contribute to products used by real customers. You'll gain exposure to modern AI technologies, production software development, and the pace of building at an early-stage startup.
If you're excited about building technology with immediate impact, learning quickly, and helping define how AI transforms critical industries, we'd love to work with you.
