The Team The Voyager team in&nbsp;Anduril&nbsp;Industries is an engineering and design division with a vast experience in developing innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge.

The team specializes in integrating enterprise networking capabilities from global IT leaders with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed to meet market demands for the most stringent of environmental

requirements. &nbsp; We&nbsp;are seeking a&nbsp;Staff&nbsp;Mechanical Engineer&nbsp;to join our&nbsp;Mechanical&nbsp;team in Dublin&nbsp;to join our team to&nbsp;design rugged edge technology equipment.&nbsp;The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, specialising in design principles &amp; processes including,&nbsp;sheetmetal, turned/milled, injection moulded,&nbsp;cast&nbsp;and extruded parts.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is a senior role that will be able to lead projects as well as develop and mentor more junior members of

the team.&nbsp; Key

Responsibilities&nbsp; <ul> <li>Primary role is enclosure design using various design principles &amp; processes including,&nbsp;sheetmetal, turned/milled, injection moulded,&nbsp;cast&nbsp;and extruded parts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Liaise with the Hardware team on PCBA &amp; cable design&nbsp;</li> <li>Generate parts on PLM system&nbsp;</li> <li>Liaise with suppliers to get custom parts built&nbsp;</li> <li>Spec off-the-shelf components &amp; source for prototype build&nbsp;</li> <li>Product prototype assembly or disassembly, including the development of&nbsp;build instructions and other general product development documentation&nbsp;</li> <li>Validate design through environmental testing in contracted test labs to applicable standards (MIL-810-H for example)&nbsp;</li> <li>Work through the prototype process to finalised design ready for production&nbsp;</li> <li>Define &amp; handover mechanical BOM to NPI team via PLM system&nbsp;</li> <li>General Engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product&nbsp;</li> <li>Generate and accurately&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;all product development documentation&nbsp;at all stages of the product lifecycle.&nbsp;</li> <li>Carry out product inspections, investigate product failures, part&nbsp;measurements, etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Liaise with Production Test and Quality teams throughout the development process and support during product lifecycle. &nbsp;</li> </ul> Required

Qualifications&nbsp;&nbsp; <ul> <li>Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering &nbsp;</li> <li>Minimum&nbsp;7&nbsp;years&nbsp;previous&nbsp;design experience in an R&amp;D environment  &nbsp;</li> </ul> Preferred

Qualifications&nbsp; <ul> <li>Industrial&nbsp;and&nbsp;manufacturing knowledge or experience    &nbsp;</li> <li>3D modelling skills is a requirement (Creo Parametric, Siemens NX or similar)&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems would be&nbsp;advantageous&nbsp;(Creo Windchill,&nbsp;Teamcentre&nbsp;or similar)&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with an ERP system like SAP Business One or Oracle is desirable but not essential.&nbsp;</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of

compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
