Product Engineer - Alexandria

San Francisco, Toronto
Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a Product Engineer with 5+ years of experience to help build Alexandria, Firecrawl's data library for superintelligence. You'll join a small, high-velocity team that takes signed data partnerships live through Firecrawl's API, including the usage metering, usage-based billing and entitlements behind them, and turns customer feedback into real product decisions.

What will you be doing?

  • Listen to customer feedback and signals for Alexandria, prioritize what matters, and ship it to production
  • Build and ship new integrations that connect data providers to the Firecrawl platform
  • Make product strategy decisions — not just implementing what customers ask for, but figuring out the right approach behind each request
  • Own the Alexandria product end to end, working closely with the founder while maintaining high autonomy
  • Interface with other engineering teams as needed, since Alexandria touches multiple Firecrawl products

About Firecrawl

About Firecrawl

Firecrawl is the easiest way to turn the web into data AI agents can use. One API call converts any URL into clean, LLM-ready markdown or structured data. It's the boring-hard problem everyone building with LLMs eventually hits, solved.

We hit 8 figures in ARR in year one, more than doubled it in year two, and just raised a $75M Series B. We have 180k+ GitHub stars, putting us in the top 50 repositories of all time, and developers, agents, and category-defining AI companies build on us every day. Growth like this is rare, and we're just getting started.

We're a small team punching far above our weight, working out of SF HQ and our new Toronto Hub. Everyone here owns a real piece of the product and company, end to end, and runs it themselves. No hiding behind process or headcount.

This is a place for people who want to work at the frontier: an AI company building the infrastructure other AI companies run on, not one bolting AI onto an existing product. We move fast, go deep, and are building the tools superintelligence will rely on to gather data from the web.

Why Firecrawl

  • Technical ownership: own critical infrastructure end to end. No layers, no committees, no waiting for permission.
  • Real impact: your work shapes the product directly. Ship something Monday, see it in customer hands by Friday.
  • High velocity: rapid iteration, fast deployment, short feedback loops. We move at the pace of the problem.
  • Small team, big ambition: ~40 people defining what Firecrawl becomes. Senior people get senior surface area.
  • In person, together: new hires work on-site five days a week at SF HQ or our new Toronto Hub, plus regular team offsites.
