Loopfour is building workflow automation for finance operations.
Our software takes the manual, repetitive work off finance teams so they can focus on the decisions that matter.
Finance teams spend their days moving documents between tools, chasing approvals, and reconciling numbers that already exist somewhere. We are building automation that fits how a business actually operates, in the tools teams already use, with a full audit trail behind every action. AI for finance, without the black box.

You'll work across our TypeScript stack: the workflow builder, the durable runtime that executes those workflows, and the integrations that connect them to the tools finance teams already use. This role is for someone who loves to learn, loves to build, and cares deeply about craft. Someone who can think through hard problems, write clean code, and isn’t afraid to make decisions. Titles matter less than impact here.
This is a high-agency role. You architect solutions, ship features to production, and shape product direction directly. Expect to touch real systems that move real money and to feel the impact of what you build.
We want someone who enjoys hard problems, moves fast without breaking trust, and cares about the people on the other side of the screen.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and maintain scalable features across the workflow builder, API, and durable runtime
Build and integrate APIs for financial data processing and automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improvements
Work with AI/ML models to enhance automation capabilities
Turn messy real-world finance processes into clean, reliable automated workflows
Own performance, correctness, and observability of the systems you ship
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack
What we’re looking for
S3+ years building and shipping full-stack web applications
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with AI/ML integration and data processing preferred
Fintech or financial systems experience is a plus

Working Hours & Environment
Working Hours:Pacific Time (PT) business hours required.
Fully remote role.
Required for real-time collaboration with customers, engineers, and founders
Off-hours work are required for go-lives, escalations, and weekly when meeting with the founders
Remote does not mean asynchronous-only — live collaboration matters
