Talent Brand and Events Manager

San Francisco, United States
Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a Talent Brand & Events Manager with 5+ years of experience to make HappyRobot one of the best-known companies in Silicon Valley. You're well connected in the SF tech and startup scene, you have strong brand taste, and you take a rough idea and run it yourself from start to finish without waiting for sign-off. HappyRobot is adding about 90 people a quarter, and you'll own the talent brand, community and events that bring top talent to us. You'll be the person who knows where the important events and super-connectors are and gets HappyRobot into those rooms.

What will you be doing?

  • Plan, host and co-host about one curated, intimate event a week in SF, such as happy hours, dinners (including our Happy Table series) and community gatherings that attract top talent. This is about 60% of the role.
  • Find the SF events, dinners and communities HappyRobot should be part of (for example, AGI House) and get the team there.
  • Own the employer value proposition and the talent brand, and keep a steady stream of content going on LinkedIn and X. Write the copy and set the creative direction, and coordinate with the teams that handle production.
  • Run internal culture events that bring our fast-growing team together.
  • Occasionally lead large events, such as global hackathons and tech activations, and bring a scrappy, high-taste approach to everything we put out.
