The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense. We are looking for an Office Assistant to help manage and coordinate our workplaces and workplace functions between our office in Odessa and at our remote depots in the Permian Basin. In this role, you will: Be the Go-To Person for all workplace operations and services in our Odessa office and Depots. Be responsible for purchasing, replenishing and managing workplace amenities such as snacks, drinks and office supplies for the Office and Depots, maintaining budget limits. Long roundtrip driving will be needed at least once per week (4-6 hours round trip for Depots). Coordinate shipping/receiving and material handling needs among the Office and Depots, tracking parcel/freight shipments to and from other Kodiak offices and delivering received packages to the appropriate depot/recipient. Ensure PPE provisions and safety supplies are stocked for Depot personnel, and at the Office. Distribute company swag and other per-employee items. Coordinate company events in Odessa and at the Depots such as cultural events, achievement parties, holiday gatherings, and employee appreciation events. Coordinate service vendors and their performance, such as janitorial, building maintenance and site services for the Office and Depots. Manage building maintenance, including scheduling and managing service and repairs. Manage site cleanliness, organization, and storage (non-R&D items). Ensure required legal postings, signage, and Health & Safety monitoring is all maintained. Assist onsite interviews and onboarding activities at the Odessa Office and Depots by preparing the room, greeting candidates (if able) and coordinating the distribution and collection of materials used. Assist demos by providing required PPE, refreshments, and guest lunches. Act as the point-of-contact for inter-company travelers with questions. Perform miscellaneous workplace housekeeping tasks at the Office and Depots. Other duties as assigned What you'll bring: Multi-tasking.
