As a Senior Technical Consultant on our Field Services team, you will realize solutions for our customers by focusing on consultancy, technical development & delivery for the customers and partners to solve critically meaningful business challenges using Salesforce’s Field Service Platform (SFS). Salesforce FS product provides FSM solutions for a wide variety of customer verticals and ecosystem(s) like Telecom, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Finance etc.. You are both a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver, your knowledge and skills are both broad and deep. You take pride in designing systems that stand up to high volumes and won't fail at critical points. You have a good mix of technical and enterprise skills when it comes to delivering a solution. The solutions you design are built for the long-term and will scale with the customer's growth plans seamlessly. You have proven experience integrating systems via API’s as well as a strong development background. You provide technical expertise to Field service implementation projects, evaluate the customer’s technical and functional
requirements, and develop efficient solutions to help customers achieve their business goals. Within Field Service, you are a leader with vision whose voice and actions are essential in growing our overall Services business, team, and culture. Senior Technical Consultants (Sr. Developers) deliver technical solutions to meet the customer’s business and technical
requirements. Sr Developers lead the evaluation of options and subsequent presentation and education of the customer/partner. They will also identify and proactively manage risk areas, and commit to seeing issues through to complete resolution.
Responsibilities Become a highly certified and recognized Salesforce expert. Help clients consistently meet/exceed goals and metrics. Contribute to customer success through front and backend solution development and release management. Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT). Provide guidance on the application and integration development best practices, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education. Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the customer’s infrastructure. Lead the strategy for complex SFS features, including advanced Scheduling & Optimization, Maintenance Plans, and Assets with multi-level hierarchies. Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and demonstrate the ability to drive to a successful resolution. Lead the evaluation of business and technical
requirements from a senior level. Identification and proactive management of risk areas and commitment to seeing an issue through to complete resolution. Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners. Build relationships with business partners, internal and external, and contributing to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single customer engagement. Architect data-driven solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud and Einstein to drive predictive service outcomes and automated technician insights. Contribute to the growth of the Services Practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice, leveraging junior teammates to achieve individual as well as team growth; serving as an active contributor to the practice knowledge and resource base; mentor, educate, and enrich technical and non-technical Salesforce customer and partner colleagues.
Requirements B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for
the role. 6-9 years of overall experience with a minimum of 3 years on the Salesforce platform. Highly beneficial to have any Salesforce.com product certifications prior to joining. Salesforce Admin Salesforce Service Cloud Salesforce Field Service Salesforce Platform Dev1 Salesforce Platform Dev2 Agentforce Credentials Experience in designing & developing on Field Service implementations. Good experience in writing custom codes, components using APEX, LWC. Hands-on expertise with Field Service Mobile app customization, including LWC for Mobile and Offline-priming logic. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Atleast 3+ years experience as a Senior Developer in a mid to large-sized organization with demonstrated leadership driving an organizational transformation in a matrixed organization. Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign-on, and master data management. Experience with modern DevOps toolchains (SFDX, GitHub, CI/CD) and sophisticated branching strategies for large-scale delivery. Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile implementation methodologies. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Proven results leading and overseeing customer and/or partner success stories in the following domains: front- and back-end solution architecture, development and release management strategies, change management. Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration. Polished speaker with the ability to evangelize best practices at various levels within a large organization. A particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies (e.g., IoT, Asset Intelligence, and Generative AI). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience. Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
