the role The Modern Milkman is looking for sales representatives to join our Connecticut field team. You'll be the face of the brand at weekend events — farmers markets, fairs, school festivals, mall activations, and community gatherings — signing up new customers and introducing them to a better way to get groceries. This is an outside sales role. You'll spend your time on the ground at events, talking to people, running demos, and converting interest into sign-ups. responsibilities Attend assigned events across Connecticut on Saturdays and Sundays, representing The Modern Milkman professionally and warmly Set up and break down the stand, displays, and signage at the start and end of each event Engage with members of the public, explain our product range and delivery model, and answer questions confidently Run sign-ups on the spot using our digital tools Capture leads, contact information, and feedback for follow-up by
the team Hit weekly sign-up targets and contribute to territory growth Look after branded uniform, equipment, and event kit, and return everything in good condition Communicate clearly with your manager about results, learnings, and any issues from each event
What we're looking for Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly manner with the public Comfortable working independently and managing your own performance Valid US driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle — travel between events across Connecticut is essential Full weekend availability — Saturdays and Sundays are required Right to work in the United States Sales, events, or community engagement experience is a plus but not required Branded uniform and equipment provided. What success looks like Consistent attendance at every assigned weekend event Strong sign-up volume each weekend, hitting or beating territory targets Positive, professional representation of The Modern Milkman in every customer interaction Reliable communication with the field team and manager Care for company property and uniform, returned in good condition
