THE OPPORTUNITY We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to the payments team located both in Brazil and Portugal . Responsible for the platform that serves the entire Wellhub business, processing millions of transactions for users and companies around the globe. We work closely with cross-functional teams and payment service providers to deliver optimum checkout conversion rates and efficient account management interactions. We are creating a new architecture and set of systems that will guarantee consistency across multiple areas and services. YOUR IMPACT You will research and execute strategic projects along with your team. Your deliverables influence B2B and B2C checkout conversion around the globe, by both creating new payment mechanisms and improving/maintaining existing ones. Together with the technical leadership, you will implement and deliver solutions working with a cross-functional team. You will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, working closely with mid-level and junior engineers and help them speed up their learning curve. You will also have opportunities to develop engineering skills by getting involved in scalability problems, system architecture, and code quality assurance, among others. Participate in the development of some of the most critical and challenging services in our ecosystem, seeking to build long-term and sustainable solutions. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience; Build Integration with 3rd party API and tools. Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process. Work with cutting-edge technologies and edge cases on a global scale.
