Reporting to the Senior Manager of Event Marketing, you’ll own the planning and execution of Altruist’s online and in-person events, delivering exceptional experiences that strengthen our brand, engage financial advisors, support key business priorities, and drive measurable results.</p> <p>This role is ideal for an experienced event marketer who is equally comfortable managing detailed execution and contributing to the broader event strategy. You see events not just as gatherings, but as a powerful way to build relationships, support product and sales initiatives, and drive awareness and growth for the business. You understand how every detail contributes to the larger experience and know how to bring cross-functional teams together to deliver events that stand out.</p> <p><em><strong>*This is hybrid role, requiring three days per week in our San Francisco or Culver City office.</strong></em></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your impact</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Event strategy, operations & execution</strong></li> <ul> <li>Lead the planning and execution of Altruist’s online event series, including programming, speaker coordination, marketing promotion, production, and post-event reporting.</li> <li>Manage the execution of Altruist’s industry event roadmap, including sponsorship strategy and deliverables, vendor coordination, internal planning, and on-site execution.</li> <li>Own event timelines, project plans, budgets, and production details to ensure events are delivered smoothly, on time, and within budget.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve event processes, attendee experiences, and overall program effectiveness.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Marketing & promotion</strong></li> <ul> <li>Partner with the broader Marketing team to develop and coordinate event promotion across email, social, and other relevant channels.</li> <li>Manage attendee communications and engagement strategies to drive registration, participation, and follow-up.</li> <li>Ensure event messaging and experiences align with Altruist’s brand, product priorities, and broader marketing strategy.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Cross-functional collaboration</strong></li> <ul> <li>Work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Content to ensure events support strategic priorities and business goals.</li> <li>Partner with Product and Sales teams to understand key audiences, product initiatives, customer needs, and opportunities to support pipeline and revenue objectives through events.</li> <li>Coordinate with executives, speakers, internal subject matter experts, agency partners, and vendors to deliver a seamless event experience.</li> <li>Serve as a trusted event partner who can manage competing priorities, communicate clearly, and keep stakeholders aligned throughout the planning process.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Reporting & optimization</strong> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Track and analyze key event metrics, including registrations, attendance, engagement, lead outcomes, pipeline influence, and attendee feedback.</li> <li>Develop post-event reports that summarize performance, key learnings, and recommendations for future programs.</li> <li>Use event data and stakeholder feedback to continually improve Altruist’s event strategy and execution.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you bring</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>5-8 years of experience managing events, ideally within a B2B technology, SaaS, or fintech organization.</li> <li>Experience owning the end-to-end execution of online and in-person events, including hosted events, industry conferences, sponsorships, and executive or customer experiences.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop events that support go-to-market priorities and measurable business goals.</li> <li>Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, timelines, budgets, and stakeholders simultaneously.</li> <li>Experience working with online event platforms such as Zoom and CRM or marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, internal teams, speakers, vendors, and external partners.</li> <li>A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a passion for creating thoughtful, high-quality experiences.</li> <li>A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
