About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Security Platform with 7+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ in management, to become Vannevar’s first-ever Security Platform EM. This is a net-new, player-coach role (about 30% hands-on) on a newly split-off team. You’ll own the systems behind authentication, authorization and access management across every Vannevar product and build the team from the ground up.
What will you be doing?
- Own strategy and execution for a centralized, modular auth service
- Scale identity and access consistently across products and customers
- Stay hands-on with code review and architecture design
- Manage and mentor engineers, starting with one direct report, and hire to grow the team
- Partner with the Senior EM of Data & Security on platform priorities
