We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to be part of making that happen Position Overview and Objective The Quality Engineer will contribute to our Engineering department by ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of Arctic Wolf products through effective test strategy, automation, and validation. This role will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences, drive automation initiatives, and support continuous improvements across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities As a Quality Engineer at Arctic Wolf, you will: Design and execute test strategies to validate product functionality, reliability, and quality. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution results using XRAY. Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify quality risks, refine
requirements, and ensure appropriate test coverage throughout the development lifecycle. Perform end-to-end functional testing for new features and releases. Investigate, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to drive timely resolution. Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services. Leverage AI-powered tools to improve test design, test automation, debugging, and overall engineering productivity. Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, test coverage, and release confidence. Experience and
Requirements: You'll be successful in this role if you have: Good understanding of software testing concepts, test design techniques, and QA best practices. Strong Python programming and automation skills with 3 to 5 years of experience. Hands-on experience with Playwright (including Playwright MCP), API testing, XRAY, and test automation frameworks. Experience working with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot to assist with test strategy design, test case generation, test automation, and overall engineering productivity. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional teams. Good to Have Experience testing pipelines, orchestrations, containers, and virtual machines. Experience with performance and load testing tools such as Locust, JMeter, k6, Gatling, or similar solutions.
