We are looking for an Executive Producer (Business) with 15+ years of experience to lead MasterClass's business content slate — owning 4–5 flagship classes per year from concept to launch. This is a rare opportunity to spend your days extracting mastery from the world's best business minds and turning it into content that genuinely changes people's lives. If you're a rare hybrid of serious business fluency and premium factual storytelling, this role was built for you.
What will you be doing?
Generating a constant pipeline of business class ideas, pitching instructors and topics, and shepherding 4–5 classes per year from development through delivery
Sitting in the chair and conducting on-camera interviews with world-class business figures — knowing how to push past surface-level answers to unlock the real story
Writing non-fiction scripts, interview questions, curriculum outlines, and creative briefs that translate complex business concepts into compelling, educational narratives
Leading and mentoring a team of producers while collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Post, GFX, and Production teams
Overseeing shoots on-set and in post, ensuring every class meets MasterClass's premium visual and editorial standards on tight turnarounds
Key Requirements
15+ years in a creative producing role (EP, Co-EP, Showrunner, or Writer-Director credits) at a production company, streamer, or network — with credits on premium factual television and/or documentary work audiences have actually heard of
Genuine, deep business expertise — not just one niche, but broad curiosity across business topics (entrepreneurship, leadership, finance, strategy, etc.)
Proven ability to write and produce non-fiction content: pitches, outlines, interview questions, and paper edits — not scripted or narrative fiction
Experience interviewing high-profile talent on camera and the confidence to redirect and push past a first answer to get the real gold
Track record of working fast — premium quality output within tight production windows, not months-long documentary timelines

Cinematic visuals and close-up, hands-on demonstrations make you feel one-on-one with the instructors, while the downloadable workbooks help reinforce your learning. With MasterClass, you can stream thousands of lessons anywhere, anytime, on mobile, desktop and TV.
