Founding Fullstack Engineer
ANORIA | YC S26 | San Francisco
We're building the first wearable that understands how you feel. Our proprietary model infers emotional state from wearable data. Founded by ex-Apple iPhone Product Design lead.You'll own the full software stack: companion mobile app, cloud pipeline, and the interface between device firmware and our ML engine. You'll work directly alongside our founding ML engineer and the CEO.
What you'll do:
- Build and ship the companion app (Swift)
- Architect the cloud pipeline from device to model to user
- Solve hard problems in audio context extraction and noisy sensor data
- Move fast across the stack wherever the bottleneck is
What we're looking for:
- Strong across frontend, backend, and infra. Generalist who ships.
- Obsessed with AI coding tools and at the forefront of what they can do
- Comfortable with ambiguity. We're five people building something new.
- Want to be a founding member, not an employee

Anoria is a YC Spring 2026-backed consumer hardware startup focused on reading emotions to enhance emotional intelligence. Its mission is to make emotional intelligence trainable to inspire human connection and creativity. Founded in 2026 by Michael Belhassen, a solo founder and ex-Apple hardware product designer who led the iPhone 17 Pro enclosure, the company operates with a small team of about five and maintains offices in San Francisco and London. The startup is fundraising in a round involving angels and strategic partners, with a closing expectation within a week, and is positioned alongside wearables peers in the Whoop and Oura space.
