QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline 1+ years of experience designing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware via professional work experience, project/research-based student experience, or a combination of both PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE : Demonstrated full-cycle ownership of a hardware project from concept to implementation Exhibit a diverse technical knowledge of materials and their processing, with experience in high temperature processing (braze) Understanding of fundamental principals in materials science and solid mechanics Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills ADDITIONAL

COMPENSATION AND

BENEFITS: Pay range: Mechanical Engineer/Level 1: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year Mechanical Engineer/Level 2: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
