Job Family: IT Project Management Travel Required: Up to 50% Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, status reports, RAID logs, and communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and projects on track. Coordinate resources, facilitate meetings, drive issue resolution, and proactively remove blockers to support successful execution. Track progress against commitments, manage scope changes, and escalate risks or impediments as needed to ensure project delivery. Support process improvement efforts and help establish project management best practices, tools, and standards across
the team. Contribute to Business Development efforts What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ten(10) + years of experience in technical project management, program management, or related roles in a technology environment. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project or program management certification is required. 3+ experience managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services agencies, preferably Child Welfare Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive cross-functional execution in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of project management and Agile methods Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands. Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft ADO Experience working in enterprise platform or cloud-based technology environments. Experience leading large-scale or highly complex technical initiatives. Ability to analyze data and create executive-level reporting and presentations. Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
