This role is split between hands on mechanical integration, installing mechanical components, building sub-assemblies, and supporting build activities, and environmental test operations, including component-level and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience across mechanical build/integration and test, with strong hands-on experience maintaining vibration (vibe) tables and TVAC chambers.</p> <p><strong>Key
Responsibilities</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Mechanical Integration &amp; Assembly<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Install mechanical components and build sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, work instructions, and travelers<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform mechanical assembly, integration, and disassembly of components, subsystems, and system-level hardware<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Fabricate, install, and align test fixtures and ground support equipment (GSE)<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Support build activities during down time between test campaigns, including fit checks, hardware prep, and staging<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Work closely with engineering to resolve fit, tolerance, or build issues during integration</p> <p><br><strong>Test Operations &amp; Facility Support</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Set up, operate, and support component level environmental testing, including vibration, shock,and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration support, and troubleshooting on vibration tables/shakers and TVAC chambers<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Install and connect test instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, etc.) and support data acquisition setup<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Support facility upkeep, including LN2/GN2 systems, vacuum pumps, and chamber controllers<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve hardware/test anomalies during live test operations</p> <p><strong>Other</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Follow and help refine procedures, travelers, and work instructions, document results, anomalies, and non-conformances<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain calibration records and equipment logs for test facility compliance<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Mentor junior technicians on assembly, integration, and test practices<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Adhere to cleanroom protocols, ESD handling
