As a Graphic Design & Video Editor Intern, you will work closely with the content and creative teams to edit long-form and short-form videos for Clinikally’s growing skincare-focused content channels. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, aesthetics, and platform-specific video formats.
You will get hands-on exposure to YouTube content, skincare explainers, product videos, webinar edits, Shorts, and other brand-led video assets.
Key Responsibilities
Cut, trim, sync audio/music, add captions, and ensure smooth pacing throughout the video.
Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos, including educational content, product reviews, skincare explainers, and webinar edits.
Repurpose long-form videos into engaging YouTube Shorts and other short-form content.
Add motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, captions, and on-brand text overlays.
Work closely with the content team to understand briefs and deliver edits aligned with the creative vision.
Ensure all video outputs are polished, on-brand, and platform-ready.
Manage and maintain organised project files, raw footage folders, and export versions.
Incorporate feedback efficiently and make revisions within timelines.
Stay updated with YouTube trends, editing styles, hooks, formats, and best practices.
Must-Have SkillsProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory.
Strong eye for video pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
Basic understanding of audio mixing, sound balancing, and colour correction.
Ability to add captions, transitions, text overlays, and simple visual effects.
Experience editing for YouTube, Instagram, or any social media platform.
Ability to work independently and deliver edits within deadlines.
Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
Portfolio, edited samples, or channel links are required.
Good-to-Have SkillsBasic knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics or animation.
Prior experience with a D2C brand, digital agency, content studio, or creator-led channel.
Understanding of YouTube retention, thumbnails, hooks, Shorts, and platform-specific content formats.
Interest in skincare, dermatology, wellness, beauty, or health content.
Basic understanding of camera handling, lighting, and on-set production workflow.
