We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join one of Dwelly’s core product domains: Tenant Find, Property Management, or Payments. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of business, product, architecture, and hands-on execution.
Depending on the team, you may work on automating tenant acquisition workflows, improving property management operations, streamlining payments infrastructure, or building systems that help acquired letting agencies transition onto Dwelly’s centralized technology platform. Across all domains, the goal is the same: understand how the business works in practice, identify high-leverage opportunities for automation, and build robust systems that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
You will be expected to develop deep domain understanding, partner closely with product and business stakeholders, make architectural decisions, and drive projects from concept through production. This role requires strong ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and advanced day-to-day use of AI and LLMs to explore problems, evaluate solution paths, accelerate implementation, and design practical automation systems.
This is a small, high-ownership team environment where exceptional engineers can have disproportionate impact. The ideal candidate is excited to act like a domain founder: taking responsibility for outcomes, connecting technical decisions to business results, and helping shape the systems that will define how Dwelly scales across acquired agencies.
Dwelly is a UK-based lettings & property management AI-first platform. The company grows by acquiring and partnering with traditional letting agencies to elevate its level of service.
After a series of M&As, Dwelly aims to consolidate and dominate the £100 billion UK letting market. Using AI, Dwelly streamlines the entire letting lifecycle—from tenant finding to rent collection—while enhancing the user experience.
