The Staff Accountant role is located in Lexington, MA and will report to the Director of Accounting & Finance. Responsibilities: · Manage general ledger accounting functions and ensure a timely and accurate month-end close. · Perform and maintain account reconciliations and be able to identify and resolve discrepancies. · Manage full cycle Accounts Payable functions, including maintaining Purchase orders. · Payroll Processing across all entities on a Bi-weekly, Semi monthly and monthly cadences. · Implement process automation and efficiencies. · Ensure compliance with GAAP. · Collaborate and support FP&A in preparing the annual budget and financial forecasts. · Support external audit and tax preparation. · Assist in implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. · Post journal entries. · Reviewing Avalara and NetSuite for multistate sales and use tax filings. · Cross train on all accounting functions to provide backup as needed.

Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Ability to identify and prioritize issues. · Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, analytical abilities. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Strong Microsoft Excel skills. · Knowledge of accounting software applications. NetSuite preferred. Education: · Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
