Finance Systems Engineer Department: Corporate Technology Employment Type: Full Time Location: Colombia Description We are looking for a Finance Systems Engineer to support operational ownership, automation, and continuous improvement across Core Finance processes and systems. This role is primarily focused on improving finance operations related to areas such as fixed assets, lease accounting, intercompany, approvals, reporting, and finance operational controls, ensuring scalable and efficient finance processes across multiple systems. In addition, depending on capacity,
the role may support other finance systems initiatives, operational improvements, and process standardization activities across the broader Finance Systems landscape. Key
Responsibilities
The role is centered around supporting and improving Core Finance operational processes and finance systems. You will work closely with finance and technical teams to identify operational inefficiencies, reduce manual activities, improve process consistency, and support automation initiatives across finance operations. A key part of
the role is supporting finance process improvements, troubleshooting operational issues, improving data quality, and assisting with finance system maintenance and standardization activities. You will support testing, documentation, user support, and implementation activities related to finance operational processes and finance systems improvements. In addition,
the role may contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives and audit-related projects. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience working with NetSuite ERP Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Understanding of finance operational processes and ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and technical stakeholders English (B2 or higher)
