Full Stack Super SWE

We are looking for a Full Stack Super SWE with 5+ years of experience (roughly 3–10 years) who builds 0-to-1 products, takes a lot of ownership and uses AI coding agents to the fullest. You'll help build Archie, P-1 AI's AI engineer for designing physical systems. You'll ship from your first week as P-1 moves toward a zero-code, agent-driven way of building software.

What will you be doing?

• Clear the frontend bottleneck by working with our frontend engineer on Archie's UI to speed up shipping to production
• Over time, move into backend-leaning full stack work: new features, infrastructure and systems
• Own features end to end, from architecture to deployment and reliability, with little hand-holding
• Bring and set up best practices for agent-driven development across the team
• Work with FDEs, AI researchers and founders to prototype and improve new product ideas for large industrial customers

Key Requirements

• An aggressive, opinionated approach to AI-assisted development, pushing coding agents to their limits
• Strong backend-leaning full stack engineer with at least mid-level frontend skills, able to debug when agents get it wrong
• A track record of taking products or major features from concept to production in a fast-moving startup setting (not too corporate)
• Real interest in the mission (physical systems, engineering design and simulation) and a clear story for why P-1
• Based in the US or Canada and willing to spend one week every six weeks onsite in San Mateo, CA. No visa sponsorship
