About
the role: Rothy’s is seeking a detail-oriented Product Development and Production Coordinator to support the development and production of our footwear and accessories. This role is highly collaborative and ensures that samples move smoothly through all stages of development, from design concept to commercialization. The Samples Coordinator works closely with Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Production, and factory partners to maintain timelines, accuracy, and quality in all sample-related processes. What you’ll do: Sample Management, PLM Data & Reporting (50%) Track samples across all development stages (prototype, development, fit, confirmation, TOP) Maintain sample calendars to support on-time delivery aligned with development timelines Organize and maintain sample libraries, including documentation, photos, and technical notes Enter and maintain product data in PLM systems with a high level of accuracy Assist in maintaining the line list to ensure information is complete and up to date Support data updates at key milestones to prepare for production handoff Help ensure alignment of product data across Product Development, Sourcing, and Production teams Track sample requests, materials, and technical details to support accurate execution Prepare and share weekly reporting on sample status and development updates Maintain milestone trackers with clear status updates, risks, and ownership Document sample feedback from cross-functional teams and ensure updates are reflected in systems and reports Identify opportunities for process improvements in sample tracking and reporting workflows Product Team Coordination & Execution (50%) Support the VP of Product Development and Production with day-to-day and milestone execution needs Responsible for data entry, pulling reports, updating trackers trackers for team and leadership use Help coordinate communication across Product Development, Sourcing, Production, Materials, and vendors Support Development and Product Creation teams with data entry, pulling reports, and updating team trackers Coordinate vendor and supplier meetings, including scheduling and logistics support Assist in sample reviews by organizing sessions, capturing notes, and sharing follow-ups Support preparation of samples for internal presentations, photo shoots, and consumer testing Contribute to team culture initiatives, including events and internal engagement activities You are: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about footwear and accessories product development A proactive communicator who enjoys supporting cross-functional teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Curious, adaptable, and open to learning new systems and processes Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with guidance from senior team members You have: 1–2 years of experience in product development, sample coordination, production support, or a related area Interest in footwear, accessories, or fashion product development Basic understanding of sample processes or willingness to quickly learn Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills Familiarity with Google Sheets/Docs/Slides; experience with PLM, Adobe Illustrator, or other design software is a plus but not required High attention to detail and eagerness to contribute to a collaborative team environment Our
