About
the Role We're hiring a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to build and own the foundation of our marketing engine. This is a highly technical, high-ownership role: you'll architect the marketing tech stack, define MQL scoring and lead lifecycle logic, manage system integrations, and ensure our data flows cleanly from first touch to closed-won. You'll report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with Sales, RevOps, and Finance. The right person is as comfortable in a MAP workflow builder as they are presenting pipeline attribution data to leadership.
Responsibilities Marketing Infrastructure & Tech Stack Own, administer, and continuously improve the marketing tech stack — MAP, CRM, intent data, enrichment, and more Evaluate, onboard, and integrate new tools as the business scales Maintain data integrity across all systems: deduplication, normalization, and routing logic Document all processes, workflows, and system configurations Partner with IT and Security on procurement, SSO, and data compliance
requirements Lead Scoring & MQL Management Design, implement, and iterate on behavioral and demographic MQL scoring models Define and own the lead lifecycle: from raw inquiry through MQL, SAL, and SQL Build and maintain lead routing and assignment rules in partnership with Sales Ops Monitor score decay, conversion rates, and funnel velocity — optimize continuously Establish SLAs between Marketing and Sales for lead follow-up and feedback loops System Integrations Own the MAP-to-CRM integration (Marketo or HubSpot to Salesforce) and ensure bi-directional sync reliability Manage integrations with third-party tools: intent platforms (6sense, Bombora), enrichment (Clearbit, ZoomInfo), chat, webinar, and events tech Partner with RevOps on attribution modeling and multi-touch reporting Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures and data sync issues proactively Reporting & Analytics Build and maintain dashboards for pipeline contribution, campaign performance, and funnel metrics Own marketing's relationship with the data warehouse — work with BI/Data teams to ensure clean marketing data feeds Provide weekly and monthly reporting to marketing leadership on MQL volume, conversion rates, and velocity Support quarterly business reviews with pipeline attribution analysis Campaign Operations Partner with Demand Gen to build, QA, and deploy campaigns across email, paid, and lifecycle channels Own email deliverability, list hygiene, and database health Manage operational compliance: CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA opt-in/out workflows
Requirements 5–8 years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or a closely related role in B2B SaaS Expert-level experience with Marketo or HubSpot (certification preferred) and Salesforce CRM Hands-on experience building or significantly rebuilding an MQL scoring model Strong understanding of lead lifecycle design, funnel metrics, and attribution methodologies Experience managing complex MAP-to-CRM integrations and third-party tool connections Comfortable with SQL or working alongside data/BI teams to pull and validate data Highly organized and process-driven — you document everything Strong communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have Experience building a marketing tech stack from an early or mid-stage starting point Familiarity with intent data platforms (6sense, Bombora, G2) Experience with ABM program operations Working knowledge of data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau) Prior experience at a cybersecurity company
