Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Program Management Support Specialist to join our team and drive the success of complex projects and programs. In this role, you will provide essential support across the entire project management lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination, rigorous process improvement, and effective stakeholder communication. Your energetic approach and expertise in program development will help deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day program coordination across multiple concurrent acquisition advisory workstreams, ensuring deliverables are on schedule and aligned with government priorities.
- Lead coordination of cross-functional working groups and inter-agency project teams, facilitating structured meetings and maintaining clear action item accountability.
- Support enterprise-wide initiative planning and execution, including intake process management for high-volume acquisition referrals.
- Draft and maintain program management plans, status reports, and executive-level briefing materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor team and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), managing communication cadence and issue escalation.
- Monitor program performance metrics and produce reporting products that enable government leadership to make informed decisions.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and related tools to track program activity and correspondence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in federal program management, acquisition support, or related advisory services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field. Greater professional expertise may be substituted for education.
- Demonstrated experience supporting federal acquisition or procurement advisory programs.
- Expert proficiency with the full Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience producing executive-level deliverables.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting VA, DoD, or other federal agency acquisition strategy or OSDBU functions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM platforms in a government context.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management credential.
- Experience coordinating inter-agency project teams (IPTs) or similar cross-functional working groups.
