Business Operations - Tandem San Francisco (Summer 2026)
About the role
Tandem is hiring 2–3 new grads for a rotational summer internship with the intent to convert to a full-time role on our operations team.
This is a 3-month program designed to give you a taste of the different sides of operations at a fast-growing startup — and give us a chance to figure out where you'd fit best on the team long-term.
About Tandem
We're the first AI-native office brokerage, helping fast-growing startups find office space. We also operate Basecamp, a shared workspace in SoMa that's home to ~100 YC and venture-backed companies — one of the densest concentrations of early-stage startup energy in San Francisco.
What you'd actually do
Rotate across our SF operations team. Over 3 months, expect to:
- Tour prospective customers through Basecamp and other SF office spaces
- Run kickoff calls with new tenants moving in
- Help support deal negotiations
- Build hacky systems using Claude Code to help scale our business development and growth efforts
This is an on-the-ground role. You'll spend a lot of your time out in the city - touring spaces, meeting customers, walking tenants through move-ins. We say this up front because we want to be clear: this is hard work, and the people who thrive here are the ones who are energized by being out in the world.
