About the role
SubImage maps the cloud the way an attacker does so security teams at scale-ups and enterprises can find and fix problems. We’re built on Cartography, the open source tool our CEO created at Lyft that’s now a CNCF project, adopted at over 70 companies.
Our annual contract values are $100k+, and we have never lost a customer.
We’re ready to scale sales, and this is the founding seat. You’ll work in-office, directly with the CEO, on an outbound motion that’s still being built.
What you’ll do
- Build pipeline: research organizations that need cloud security, identify the right people inside them, draft outreach, and open conversations.
- Book qualified meetings across email and LinkedIn.
- Monitor industry signals to identify high-intent windows of opportunity.
- Continuously improve our outbound playbook.
Who we’re looking for
- 1-2 years of sales experience.
- You’re a strong writer. Cold emails, LinkedIn notes, follow-ups are most of the job. Good ones get replies and bad ones don’t (or even actively damage our reputation).
- You are based in the SF Bay Area and want to work in-person, in-office 5 days a week.
- You want to grow into sales leadership. This is a founding sales role with a real path to leading the sales org as we scale.
