About
the role This is a founding leadership role. We are looking for someone who can zoom out to set architecture and roadmap direction, and zoom in to ship code alongside
the team. You will work closely with our Founder to drive product direction and iteration, and own everything from infrastructure and reliability to engineering culture and hiring. We want someone deeply hands-on, who has lived in the trenches of 0→1 product development, and who knows when to build for scale and when to move fast and clean it up later. Ideal
qualifications • 2+ years of experience building product at an early stage start up • Shipped product people genuinely love, from 0→1 • Has driven engineering efforts in scrappy, fast paced environments with strong instincts about what matters at this stage • Product engineer at heart: comfortable with ambiguity, willing to get into user research and data, able to translate fuzzy product goals into clean technical decisions • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, designing and testing user-facing interventions, and doing product work (user interviews, experiment design, metric analysis) • Experience with cloud-based product architecture at scale The kind of person we're looking for: high energy, low ego, deeply mission-driven. Someone who pushes hard and brings out the best in the people around them. Equally comfortable in a product strategy conversation and a code review.
