Midship is hiring an Account Executive from the audit world who wants to transition into sales or has already made that move.
You've spent years in internal audit, SOX compliance, or Big 4. You know the pain of manual testing, evidence gathering, and endless workpapers. You've lived it. Now you want to sell the solution that fixes it.

You will work directly with the founders to own the full sales cycle - discovery, demos, pilots, negotiations, and close.
What you'll do:
This is a founding sales role. You will be our first AE and will help define what great looks like as we scale.
We are an in-person team based in San Francisco.

Total compensation: $200,000 - $250,000, including base salary and commission. Equity grant also included.

Internal audit today is weighed down by repetitive, procedural work. Teams spend huge amounts of time gathering evidence, ticking boxes, and producing documentation, instead of focusing on risk and advising the business.
Midship gives auditors AI agents that can autonomously perform large parts of audit programs, from evidence collection through to testing and workpaper creation. Our goal is to dramatically increase auditor leverage so they can focus on higher-value work.
Midship is rebuilding internal audit from the ground up. We're starting with SOX testing by building AI agents that perform audit work end to end, giving auditors leverage to focus on higher-value risk and advisory work.
