We're looking for a backend-leaning full-stack engineer with 2–8 years of experience (flexible from ~1 to 10 years) who has worked at a brand-name engineering company and holds a degree from a top-tier university (top 20). You should be comfortable working independently and owning features end-to-end in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, with a bias toward backend work (~60/40 backend-to-frontend split). You're mission-driven, low-ego, and genuinely excited about improving healthcare access for Americans — not purely economically motivated. This is a top priority hire as Corridor scales toward Series A — team caliber is a core strategic KPI and this person will help set the engineering bar for the next 5–15 hires.
Responsibilities
Corridor is an AI-native health insurance brokerage for small employers (under 50 employees). We're replacing the traditional brokerage model — where a single broker manually manages a handful of clients with spreadsheets and phone calls — with AI-powered workflows that deliver 10x the quality at a fraction of the cost. Our technology handles everything from plan research and quoting to enrollment and ongoing servicing, so small business owners get Fortune 500-quality benefits guidance without the Fortune 500 price tag.
We're backed by Bain Capital Ventures, BoxGroup, and other top-tier investors, and we're based in San Francisco. The founding team came out of Scale AI, McKinsey, Built Robotics, Venteur, Delphina, and Mural.
