Information about the position As The Ad Operations Manager within the Ads business Team at Vinted, you will assist the Global Sales and Partnerships team in technology improvements, cross-functional support for campaign management, digital media planning capabilities, and sales, while ultimately growing digital yield and inventory efficiency. This role also includes managing digital vendor relationships and partnering with the best tools in the digital advertising world, within an encouraging team environment that prizes collaboration, innovation, and self-starters in all roles. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Data, and external ad-tech vendors to improve yield, resolve technical issues, support campaign delivery, and ensure high-quality ad experiences for users. Within Vinted, the Ads Business team comprises sales and operations professionals focused on developing strategic partnerships and driving programmatic buying of Vinted’s app and web inventory across advertising agencies and enterprise clients. The Ad Tech Operations team specializes in optimizing Programmatic yield and troubleshooting any technical issues in our ad stack.
The role presents the opportunity to join an exciting team environment which places a big emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and initiative. In this position, you’ll Be responsible for Ad monetisation, including Waterfall Management, mediation setup and ad placement configuration on both Apps and Web Conduct full-cycle operations with partners on both ad-hoc matters (bugs, discrepancies, creative quality, SDK updates) and long-term strategic ones (being aware of partners product development, new features, ad formats, beta-programs) Monitor business performance data on all ad-related features and metrics (eCPM, ARPDAU, Ad Impressions/DAU, fill rate, revenue, etc) Identify growth points and strategy for Ad Monetization through yield management, ad tech vendors optimisation, and performance analysis Support Ad sales team with campaign management (setup, delivery monitoring and troubleshooting) Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and external ad tech vendors to support operational tasks and resolve issues Maintain clear documentation, ad operations best practices, and ad tech vendor comms to support efficient day-to-day ad operations About you Proven expertise in Ad Monetization, with strong hands-on background in ad operations, programmatic operations, or mobile app monetization Experience with mediation platforms, preferably AppLovin MAX, or similar platforms such as Google AdMob, ironSource LevelPlay/Unity Ads, or other ad-tech tools A strong understanding of how ad networks operate, as well as advanced knowledge on the best practices of waterfall optimisations in multiple EU markets The ability to prioritise ad hoc tasks related to troubleshooting, dig deep into data and find and resolve issues at an operational level Excellent presentation skills to show your findings, thoughts and ideas to top management and build a plan for the execution of projects within and outside of your direct
