The Opportunity Nutanix is seeking a Director, Treasury - Capital Markets & FX to support the company’s capital structure, foreign exchange strategy and financing related risk management. Reporting to the VP, Treasury, this role will play a critical part in designing and executing the global FX hedging strategy, overseeing intercompany operations, managing corporate debt and revolving credit facilities, supporting liquidity planning, evaluating customer and captive finance models, and engaging with key external stakeholders including investment banks and credit rating agencies.

the Team At Nutanix, you will be joining the Global Tax and Treasury Team, a geodispersed group of professionals dedicated to driving strategic financial initiatives across the organization. You will report to the VP of Global Tax and Treasury, who provides strong leadership and mentorship to foster team development and success. The work setup is primarily remote; however, if you live within 50 miles of our San Jose or Durham office, you will be required to come into the office 3 days a week. Additionally, this role entails no travel
requirements, allowing you to focus solely on your contributions to our team. Your Role Design and execute FX hedging programs (Balance Sheet & Cash Flow hedging). Oversee hedge accounting setup and compliance. Oversee global intercompany transaction frameworks and settlement processes across 50+ international subsidiaries Establish automated, competitive multi-bank bidding workflows to drive best execution and minimize spreads on FX spot transactions; integrate trading platforms with internal systems to automate post-trade settlement. Support the evaluation, structuring, and operational execution of share repurchase programs Build dynamic capital allocation models to evaluate competing uses of cash including share repurchases, debt paydown, M&A funding, intercompany repatriation, and internal growth initiatives Support the execution and ongoing management of corporate debt structures, including revolving credit facilities (RCFs), term debt, and other financing arrangements. Build and maintain complex covenant, liquidity, and capital structure models to monitor compliance and support amendments, refinancings, or new financings. Evaluate funding alternatives and capital structure options, assessing cost, flexibility, risk, and liquidity implications. Analyze and support the implementation of alternative payment solutions, performing due diligence on third party funders and assessing the impact of captive financing Prepare liquidity planning and cash flow forecasting in close partnership with the FP&A team. Contribute to credit and financial risk assessments related to debt, customer financing arrangements, and evolving market conditions. Lead credit rating agency engagement, including the initial framework setup, preparation of analytical materials/forecasts, and ongoing support. Partner cross functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations to ensure alignment across forecasting, disclosures, and reporting. Prepare executive and Board level materials regarding capital structure, and strategic financing considerations. Strengthen Treasury processes, controls, and documentation to ensure the organization can scale effectively. What You Will Bring 7-12+ years of experience in corporate treasury, capital markets, FX, captive finance, or related roles. Hands on experience with corporate debt and revolving credit facilities (RCFs), including deep expertise in covenant modeling. Hands on experience with FX execution systems and global multi-entity transaction flows. Technical knowledge of accounting and financial statement impacts related to foreign currency and investment activity Background in captive finance, specialty finance, or lending platforms, with a firm grasp of funding structures and credit frameworks. Familiarity with customer financing models and the ability to evaluate economic, risk, and balance sheet implications. Direct experience supporting credit rating agency setup and ongoing engagement. Advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights. Industry background in technology or SaaS is strongly preferred. Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex financing topics clearly to senior leadership and cross functional partners. Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the
benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 174,400 and USD $ 349,200 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total
compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on
bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other
benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off
benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or
