About
the Role Flock is hiring a Capital Markets Analyst to join our team. In this role, you won't just be crunching numbers; you will be the engine behind our deal flow, bridging the gap between complex financial data and strategic investment decisions. While your primary focus will be on diligence and operations to start, you will gain exposure to diverse capital structures and institutional financing strategies for all parts of the real estate transaction. What You’ll Do Drive Investment Decisions: Build and maintain sophisticated dynamic financial models that provide the foundation for multi-million dollar investment committees. Deliver Market Intelligence: Transform raw market data into persuasive narratives. You will produce high-quality offering memorandums and investor presentations that clearly articulate the "why" behind an investment decision. Execute Due Diligence: Support the transaction process by obtaining documents from owners, lenders, legal counsel, and third-parties, ensuring seamless transaction execution. Optimize Portfolio Performance: Track and report on asset performance, identifying opportunities for refinancing or disposition based on shifting market conditions. About You 1–3 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, or commercial real estate finance. Expert-level Excel skills: You should be comfortable building models from scratch, utilizing advanced formulas, and ensuring "audit-ready" accuracy. Real Estate Fluency: A basic understanding of real estate, property values, and related investment concepts (loans, joint ventures, etc.). Narrative Power: The ability to write clearly and design professional collateral that tells a compelling investment story. Ownership: Desire to grow your impact, balancing speed of delivery with judicious prioritization. Grit: A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple tight deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail. Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet, handle objections, and find creative solutions. Ethical: Conduct business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
