About the role
We are looking for a Head of Operations with 10+ years of experience in healthcare operations to own and scale our entire care delivery operation. You must have personally built and scaled a distributed provider workforce to multi-hundreds or thousands — not just been at a company that did it. You'll be the first hardcore ops hire at Somethings, building process where none exists, driving margin expansion, and ensuring we have the infrastructure to serve hundreds of thousands of teens through our Certified Peer Specialist network. This role has a clear trajectory to COO as the company grows.
What will you be doing?
- Own provider forecasting and staffing plans — ensuring the clinical recruiting team hits quarterly and half-year targets to scale from ~50 to 100+ mentors this year and beyond
- Build and manage the end-to-end credentialing process for providers and organizational payer enrollment across multiple states, eliminating bottlenecks
- Partner with the Head of Clinical Ops to design operational processes that improve efficiency, drive utilization, and expand gross margins
- Lead new health plan and state partnership launches — turning signed contracts into live, compliant delivery in new markets
- Leverage AI tools and automation to drive operational efficiency gains rather than relying on headcount alone
