About the role
This role partners directly with Benedikt, Plato’s CEO, to drive high-impact cross-functional projects and build the operational foundations an early-stage company needs to scale. It’s a hands-on, high-ownership position where you’ll work across GTM, Product, Engineering, operations and fundraising to clear blockers and make things happen.
What youll do • Act as the CEO’s right hand, working directly with Benedikt on the company’s highest-priority initiatives. • Own cross-functional projects end-to-end, from scoping and execution to reporting outcomes. • Build and refine internal processes and operational infrastructure that scale with the company. • Support strategic work such as market analysis, partnership evaluation, fundraising materials, and new market entry. • Translate between GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and momentum. • Identify and clear blockers, connecting dots across teams without needing a playbook. • Jump in to resolve urgent issues and take responsibility for timely outcomes. • Take on a broad range of
responsibilities across fundraising, GTM, product, hiring, and operations to learn quickly and grow. What Plato is looking for • 1–2 years experience in an early-stage startup, VC, or consulting environment, with comfort operating in ambiguity. • Hungry, entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to join a fast-moving, ambitious team. • Proactive self-starter who identifies what needs to happen and makes it happen with minimal direction. • Structured thinker who biases toward action and iterates quickly with incomplete information. • Composed under pressure with a high tolerance for shifting priorities and competing demands. • Delivers results without much hand-holding. • Fluent in German and English (non-negotiable). •
