TL;DR / Overview At Alleviate Health , we’re building AI agents that drastically accelerate clinical trials by autonomously communicating with patients to recruit them into trials and support them over years, pruning billions in excess spend. We’re solving the problem that keeps executives at the largest $100B+ pharma companies up at night. We’ve raised $4.3M, backed by Andreessen Horowitz and other investors like Jack Altman, Co-Founder of Lattice; Sajith Wickramasekara, Co-Founder of Benchling; Ali Rowghani, former CFO and COO of Twitter; Trey Holterman, CEO and Co-Founder of Tennr; and many others who’ve built category-defining healthcare and pharma tech companies. Context Conducting a clinical trial is the most complex and broken — but also the most high-stakes and capital-intensive — problem of our era. To bring a life-saving medicine from the lab bench to patients, pharma companies spend tens of billions a year on trials in which hundreds of research sites qualify and screen hundreds of thousands of patients and stay in contact with those patients over years. This enormous, labor-intensive struggle of screening, recruitment, and retention of patients across hundreds of small research sites in every single trial is the foundational bottleneck in clinical trials. Company Highlights Hypergrowth. We’re growing rapidly month over month, both within existing and new accounts. We’ve landed and realized multiple six-figure deals. Our largest live contract has an annual value of more than $450K. Our win rate on commercial deals is above 92%. We’re the market-leading solution. Our market is gigantic and immensely painful. Our pipeline grows organically due to customer fear of falling behind after hearing from our existing customers. Clinical trials recruitment is the largest bottleneck in drug development and site revenue growth.
To bring a life-saving medicine from the lab bench to patients, pharma companies spend tens of billions a year for research sites to qualify & screen hundreds of thousands of patients and then to stay in contact with those patients over years. Approximately 80% of clinical trials are delayed due to problems with recruitment and between $600,000 and $8 million is lost for each day a trial is delayed. This enormous, labor-intensive struggle of screening, recruitment, and retention of patients across thousands of small research sites in every single trial is the foundational bottleneck in clinical trials.
Alleviate empowers research sites’ best recruiters to connect with more patients by making their days 10x more efficient. Our SMS and Voice agents engage patients at scale, pass them to recruiters if they pre-qualify via a transferred or scheduled call, and automatically update any CTMS or CRM.
We’re already working with 7 of the top 15 research site networks in the country with customers like Alcanza Clinical Research, CenExel, Centricity Research, M3 Wake Research, Eximia Research, and Profound Research along with many more unannounced partnerships. Our agents have been battle-tested across 500k+ patient interactions, 190+ sites, and 300+ unique trials. They yield the highest conversion rates of any solution on the market because they’ve been optimized across every possible patient population, indication, and workflow in the recruitment process.
We’re now backed by Andreessen Horowitz and other investors like Jack Altman, Zach Weinberg (Co-Founder of Flatiron Health, the largest Pharma tech exit of all time), Trey Holterman (CEO & Co-Founder of Tennr) and many others who’ve built category defining healthcare & pharma companies.
