Mechatronics Engineer

Austin, TX
Full-time
Visa Sponsorship

About the role

At Loombotic, we are automating wire harness manufacturing.\ \ We need an exceptional Mechatronics engineer to scale the speed we deploy our automated harness manufacturing lines, bringing the number of lines from 1 → 10 →100, with 10x the speed and capability.

We need someone who lives and breathes mechatronics, from designing the machines, PCB design, controls and being able to own complex and sometimes novel machines that deal with flimsy and flexible items such as wire, tape and sleeving.

You will be joining a team that has already deployed a SOTA harness manufacturing line, aiming to make 100’s of thousands of harnesses per month by mid 2027.

If you are not prepared for a challenge you need not apply. We have 20,000 sqft of factory that will be automated, this is a big task and we are looking for people who truly believe they are the best.

We use Onshape, and KiCAD, and are huge proponents of AI agents in every part of the design stack where they provide value.
