Contract People Experience Coordinator

Lisbon, Portugal

About the role

Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud. Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking. It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world. This contract role will serve as the heart and soul of the office, playing a critical part in shaping the day-to-day employee experience. You'll coordinate administrative operations, maintain a safe and welcoming workplace, and support cultural and inclusion initiatives that bring the office to life. This role is being hired for both our Boston and Lisbon offices; location-specific details are noted where they differ. Schedule (Lisbon) - 3 days per week on-site, with Tuesday and Thursday as fixed, permanent days (the office hosts lunch in-office on these days). - Wednesday is the flexible day — occasionally swapped for Monday when leadership or visiting teams from other offices are on-site, since those visits typically begin on a Monday. - If a 4th day (Monday or Friday) is needed beyond the standard 3, that day will be paid in addition rather than swapped for one of the fixed days.

What You'll Do - Manage the administrative operations of the office, including receiving and organizing mail and packages, communicating with the facilities team and vendors, and assisting with visitor coordination. - Maintain a presence at front-desk reception to support visitors, deliveries, guests, and all related security protocols (e.g., ID badges, guest NDAs, etc.). - Responsible for maintaining a user-friendly, safe, and secure workplace. - Collaborate with People Services to update office policies and procedures as needed. - Partner with the People Experience team to help coordinate and plan local events or celebrations, consistent with the global events philosophy and strategy — including weekly team meals/lunches and monthly happy hours. - Assist in the development and delivery of internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged. - Support the global team in broader cultural initiatives, events, or communications, and help build and strengthen local office culture. - Work in partnership with the Inclusion and Impact team to ensure all events, holidays, and heritage months are communicated through the proper channels. - Partner with the local IT, security, legal, and executive teams to maintain a safe environment, compliant with all local health & safety regulations. - Partner with local leadership and teams to gain an understanding of regional and office culture, office needs, areas of improvement, and initiatives to lead. - Partner with the Executive Assistant team to ensure administrative and on-site needs are supported or coordinated locally, including securing restaurant reservations, lodging recommendations, and booking meeting rooms for visiting leadership, teams, and offsites. - Build and maintain a list of local vendors and providers (e.g., catering, event vendors) and manage outreach for quotes — an area with no existing documentation today. - Assess ongoing operational pain points (e.g., payment processes) and drive fixes; facilitate onboarding and streamline local processes. - Organize meetups and events at nearby venues, establishing points of contact with local venues for recurring use. - Organize employer branding events and support Snyk brand initiatives outside the office, coordinating the logistics involved. - Support office uplift and branding projects, including gathering and sharing current photos, color schemes, and design materials with design/procurement teams as needed. What You Bring - 1+ years within a people-facing and/or administrative role. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Passion for hospitality and a strong grasp of service orientation and customer support. - Ability to work within a distributed team in a fast-paced, changing environment. - Demonstrates the ability to learn new

responsibilities quickly. - Demonstrates a good understanding of an important set of functions within the remit of their role. It'd Be Awesome If You Also… - Have hands-on experience with AI tools. - Have worked within a fast-paced SaaS / Tech company. - Bring fresh ideas and aren't afraid to challenge the status-quo. We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech.
