About the role
We are looking for a Founding Business/GTM Recruiter with 4–8 years of experience to help build Pallet's GTM function. We want a scrappy, startup-tested recruiter who has worn many hats and wants to focus on the business side. Fresh off a new raise ahead of our Series C, we're scaling our Deployments, Marketing and G&A teams.
What will you be doing?
- Own full-cycle recruiting for business roles across Deployments, Marketing, GTM and G&A (Finance, Ops).
- Spend about half your week with candidates, typically 6–10 calls a day across a busy portfolio of reqs.
- Partner with hiring managers to build interview playbooks and run a high-signal, consistent process.
- Source directly for top-priority roles (about 15–20% of your time), working alongside two dedicated sourcers and agency partners.
- Shape the 0→1 recruiting process, tooling and talent brand alongside the Head of Talent and the CEO.
Key Requirements
- In-house recruiting experience at startups or well-known tech companies, ideally as a founding or early recruiter.
- A mix of role types, with genuine interest in business/GTM hiring. Purely technical recruiting backgrounds are a tough fit.
- Clear career progression and stable tenure (about 2 years on average), with no pattern of short stints or long contract/freelance stretches.
- Proven ability to engage and close top talent in competitive SaaS or AI markets.
- Based in San Francisco and able to work on-site 5 days a week.

Along the way, we’ve noticed our customers approach a lot of basic workflows manually like appointment setting, quoting, load entry, etc. In addition to our flagship products, we are focused on a new workflow automation using AI Agents. These AI Agents can take calls from drivers & carriers, understand requests, confirm/reschedule shipments, and execute these workflows in customer systems.
