the Role We are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrated mechanical, electrical, and control systems. The successful candidate will work across the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping through testing and deployment—collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable automated systems and smart devices. Responsibilities Design and develop mechatronic systems integrating mechanical components, electronics, sensors, and actuators Program and configure microcontrollers, PLCs, and embedded systems Develop and tune control algorithms for motion control, automation, and robotics applications Build and test prototypes, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and iterate on designs Create technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration Support commissioning, installation, and maintenance of automated equipment Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and quality
requirements Required
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of relevant experience (adjust for seniority level) Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) Experience with microcontrollers (Arduino, STM32, ESP32) and/or PLC programming Programming skills in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink Understanding of control theory, sensors, actuators, and electric motors Membership with the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), or eligibility to obtain it Good command of English and Arabic Preferred
Qualifications Experience with robotics, industrial automation, or IoT systems Familiarity with PCB design and rapid prototyping (3D printing) Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, I2C, SPI) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Professional development opportunities
