Senior Producer - Creative, Brand Studio - Castelion Corporation | Career Page Senior Producer - Creative, Brand Studio Torrance, California, United States Apply for Position Or refer someone Job Openings Senior Producer - Creative, Brand Studio About the job Senior Producer - Creative, Brand Studio About Castelion Castelion is bringing a new approach to defense development and production: short, iterative design cycles, rapid testing, and modern commercial manufacturing strategies built for scale. We're designing, building, and testing next generation long range strike weapons systems to give America and its Allies a definitive edge and deter future conflicts. The brand studio you will help build is how the world comes to understand that mission. Senior Producer - Creative, Brand Studio This is not a typical creative role. Most producers spend their careers executing someone else's vision inside a system that was already built. This is the rare opportunity to be the person who builds the system. Castelion is creating its brand studio from the ground up, and we are looking for the S enior Producer - Creative who will define what production looks like, how it operates, and what it stands for. You will design our production workflow from the ground up, rooted in the right blend of what's unique to Castelion and what are industry best practices. In turn, every visual decision, every frame, every story we tell about this company and its mission will carry your fingerprints. Castelion builds next generation long range strike weapons systems to give America and its allies a definitive edge and deter future conflicts. The stories told about this technology, and the credibility with which they are told, are part of how that mission lands with the world. The creative producer who takes this role will be working at the intersection of craft and consequence. If you have been the most ambitious person in every room you have worked in and have not yet found a room worthy of that ambition, keep reading. AREAS OF IMPACT You will be the creative production architect of Castelion's new brand studio That means leadership and ownership across every stage of production: concept, pre production, shoot, post, and delivery. Visual Identity and Creative Direction You will work with the Brand Marketing Team and Art Director to continue to evolve the visual language of Castelion across all video content. Together with your colleagues, will make the calls on look, tone, pacing, and storytelling approach that in turn become the blueprint for Castelion's content for the months and years ahead Production Operations You will help build and manage the infrastructure of an inaugural in-house production within our brand studio, including workflow systems, vendor and agency relationships, equipment decisions, and the production pipeline from brief to final deliverable. As the studio grows, so will your team. End to End Production From brainstorming and storyboarding through shoot days, editing, color grading, and final delivery, you will touch every part of the process. You are as comfortable on set as you are in the edit bay. We are looking for a do leader who can be hands on; we are also looking for you to identify what and who is needed, and when, to scale the team. Early on in this role you will be heavier on the doing and as we scale, you will shift more into the leading and enabling . Cross Functional Collaboration You will work directly with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure that every piece of content reflects the technical accuracy and precision that Castelion's products demand. You are an ace at client services and know how to engage, manage, and route requests from business partners across the company (e.g., HR, Government Relations, executive team, etc.). Content Strategy and Format Innovation Defense industry content is not known for creative ambition. We want to change that, and we are looking for someone who sees that gap as an invitation rather than a constraint. THE CANDIDATE WE ARE LOOKING FOR You can hold the big picture creative vision while tracking the granular details of a production schedule. You have strong opinions about visual craft and the communication skills to bring others to your point of view. You are energized by this ambiguity. You have probably built something from scratch before, even if not at this scale, and you know the feeling of owning a result end to end. You understand how stories are built for social-native environments: how the same narrative lives across channels and communities online. You know how attention moves: how a clip earns audience attention while pulling people toward the larger story behind it, and how to engineer that relationship from the production stage forward. You are also drawn to work that carries genuine weight. The work here at Castelion has it in abundance. WHAT YOU BRING Required 7 or more years of end-to-end video production experience, including full ownership of projects from brief through final delivery A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft in cinematography, editing, and color grading across multiple production scales Deep experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Lightroom Demonstrated experience shooting in technically complex or restricted environments, including aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or comparable industrial settings Proven track record leading and directing production crews on location and in studio Fluency with motion graphics and 2D or 3D animation as storytelling tools, whether executed personally or in collaboration with specialists Familiarity with AI assisted production and post production workflows and a clear point of view on how these tools serve, rather than replace, creative judgment Extreme attention to detail without losing sight of the larger narrative goal Preferred Experience in a brand studio build or agency launch context Working knowledge of real time rendering tools such as Unreal Engine for visualization and previsualization purposes Experience with camera systems from Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Arri, and Blackmagic Prior work in an in-house creative environment inside a technology, aerospace, or defense company Familiarity with ITAR requirements and the operational realities of producing content in a classified or access restricted facility This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Torrance facility. Some of the most important production moments, including field shoots at test and manufacturing sites, happen in dynamic and physically demanding environments. You should be comfortable working extended hours when production demands it, and you should expect to travel approximately 30 percent of the time. ITAR Requirements To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
