About the role

As an electrical engineer, you will assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of satellite electrical systems. You will work closely with the Turion Space team across software and hardware systems while overseeing a team of electrical engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the spacecraft electrical systems architecture and design
  • Design circuits + PCBs for various spacecraft subsystems
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Experience developing electrical systems on spacecraft
  • Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test electrical systems from scratch
  • Capable of identifying and solving complex problems with little to no supervision or direction
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Software development experience in C++, Python, Matlab, or similar software
  • Experience with automated HW testing
  • Experience with electromechanical elements
  • Knowledge of radiation effects on semiconductors
