About the role
We are looking for an Employment Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our Omaha office. The ideal candidate will be an established, management-side employment law generalist who can handle both litigation and counseling matters. This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of our employment practice, with significant opportunities for growth and to build something new within a stable and respected firm.
What will you be doing?
- Representing employers in a full range of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment claims.
- Counseling corporate clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including drafting policies, handbooks, and employment agreements.
- Handling administrative proceedings before agencies like the EEOC and Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission.
- Advising on internal employment issues within the firm.
- Building out the firm's dedicated employment law practice with direct partner mentorship.
