<p>As a Human Resources Business Partner at Thrive Market, you hold a key position in providing essential support to our fulfillment team at our Reno, NV facility. Your primary focus will be on fostering positive relationships among Thrive Market employees while overseeing a spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to
Responsibilities</strong></span></h2>
<ul>
<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and
benefits laws through periodic audits.</li>
<li>Manage
benefits administration, including reviewing
benefits with employees and processing enrollments, cancellations, or changes.</li>
<li>Conduct detailed timecard reviews to ensure accurate payroll processing.</li>
<li>Oversee leave of absence processes.</li>
<li>Participate in recruitment efforts and coordinate with local temporary staffing agencies, as well as conduct exit interviews.</li>
<li>Maintain HRIS records, employee roster, and compile necessary reports.</li>
<li>Investigate employee relations claims and facilitate conflict resolution.</li>
<li>Engage in employee appreciation events, volunteering, and cultural activities to promote employee engagement.</li>
<li>Propose new approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency of HR services.</li>
<li>Handle unemployment notices, represent the company for local unemployment claims, and manage workers'
compensation case files.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing and facilitating change management efforts.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing and facilitating the roll out of new programs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with management to foster a positive work environment that values diverse talents and abilities.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>
Qualifications</strong></span></h2>
<ul>
<li>Associate or bachelor's degree.</li>
<li>4+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong understanding of basic practices and principles.</li>
<li>Experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing, particularly with multiple shifts and a large hourly population.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of providing honest, direct feedback.</li>
<li>Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and exercise good judgment in stressful situations.</li>
<li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven, and open to continuous improvement and change.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, HRIS, and payroll systems.</li>
<li>Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required.</li>
