Responsibilities
As Chief of Staff at Azalea Robotics, you will work directly with the CEO to keep the company's most important priorities moving forward. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role spanning operations, strategy, and execution. You will juggle multiple active workstreams at once, coordinate across every function, and step into gaps as they emerge. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Partner with the CEO on day-to-day priorities: attend key meetings, track decisions and action items, and ensure follow-through across the organization
Own the executive operating cadence, including leadership meetings, quarterly planning, and board meeting preparation
Manage multiple simultaneous workstreams with hard deadlines and competing demands
Prepare investor communications, board materials, and briefing documents; serve as a point of contact for investors, advisors, and commercial partners
Conduct research to support strategic and commercial decisions, including building financial models
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams
Track activity across business development, customer pilots, legal, finance, and operations; surface the right information to the right people at the right time
Support hiring across the organization, including coordinating interviews and managing candidate pipelines
Build and maintain the internal processes and documentation that keep a lean team on track
Step into functional gaps as the company scales
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA is a plus
3+ years in startup operations, management consulting, investment banking, or similar
Ability to manage many concurrent workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines without losing track of details
Strong written and verbal communication skills; can produce clear deliverables for technical and non-technical audiences alike
Comfortable building financial models and structuring analysis from scratch
Track record of delivering cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment
Technical aptitude and genuine interest in robotics or hardware; you do not need to be an engineer, but you need to earn credibility with an engineering-heavy team
Experience supporting executives through board meetings, investor processes, or fundraising is preferred
Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information in a fast-changing environment
Low ego, high ownership; no task is beneath you
