About
the Role As Picogrid’s first dedicated brand marketing hire, you’ll own how the company shows up to the world, from campaigns and content to social and media. You’ll own and execute Picogrid’s brand marketing, from strategy to writing copy. This is a hands-on role today with a clear path to building and leading a team as the function grows. If you’re equal parts creative and strategic, and love building something from scratch, you’ll thrive in this role.
Responsibilities Own & evolve Picogrid’s brand position, identity, and voice. Ensure consistency across everything we share including press releases to social posts to event materials. Develop and execute brand and media campaigns, content, and activations that build awareness and credibility in the defense ecosystem . Own Picogrid’s social media strategy & execution. Build a data-driven approach to growing our audience and deepening engagement Build Picogrid’s physical presence, from billboards to print ads to posters, and make every piece impossible to ignore Work cross-functionally with creative, engineering, deployments, and leadership to align brand efforts with company milestones, product launches, and press moments Identify and develop brand partnerships, sponsorships, and experiential opportunities that put Picogrid in front of the right audiences Build the framework to measure what’s working. Track performance, report on ROI, and iterate Required
Qualifications 4-7 years of experience in brand marketing, with a portfolio that shows you’ve owned significant marketing campaigns for a company or product end to end You’re comfortable being a team of one who can think strategically and then do the work. You’re not afraid to bring ideas to the table. Strong point of view on brand. Picogrid operates in a large defense community full of noise. We need someone who can articulate what makes us different, and make that resonate across every channel. Ability to flex strategic and tactical, creative and analytical. You might spend the morning mapping out a six-month brand campaign, the afternoon writing copy for a press release, and finish the day pulling performance metrics. Excited to build. Qualifications
Bonus points if you have a track record of executing creative or guerrilla marketing campaigns that break out of traditional channels. We're looking for someone who thinks beyond press releases and social posts. Prior experience marketing defense or national security products, including familiarity with the defense conference calendar and the media channels that reach decision-makers in that space.
Compensation &
Benefits Base salary range: $ 105,000-175,000 per year. Base salary is just one part of your total
