For more information visit: Bain Capital DESCRIPTION This position will be working within Bain Capital’s Private Markets and Corporate Technology team, which supports Private Equity, Growth & Venture, Real Assets and cross firm platform services areas. This role will focus on the systems and processes that support partnership accounting, fund reporting, and business intelligence across the firm. Leveraging both business and technical knowledge, this individual will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, application developers, and QA specialists to deliver and continuously improve solutions across partnership accounting platforms (e.g., Investran, eFront, LemonEdge) and business intelligence/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) supporting finance and investment operations teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Business Analysis & Delivery Lead
requirements gathering, documentation, and testing for partnership accounting and BI/reporting solutions supporting global private equity business needs. Translate complex fund accounting, reporting, and data
requirements into actionable technical specifications. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance functionality across partnership accounting platforms (Investran, eFront, LemonEdge) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance between partnership accounting systems and downstream reporting/BI layers. Serve as a subject matter expert in partnership accounting and private fund/investor reporting, including fee and return calculations, financial statements, investor statements, ILPA reporting, and other key reporting deliverables for private funds. Deep understanding of current and upcoming Investran features, advising accounting team on leveraging them. Collaborate and advise finance team on key investor accounting and reporting workflows surrounding Investran and help leverage new product features or custom automations to improve them. Manage and support plugins, customizations and integrations to and from Investran. lead product lifecycle and roadmap for Investran including upgrade to Investran. Support development of new integrations and upgrades to existing platforms. Advocate best practices in systems analysis, product management, and project governance.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 5+ years of business/systems analysis experience, including prior experience supporting buy-side/asset management or private equity firms. Hands-on experience with one or more partnership accounting systems such as Investran, eFront, or Lemon Edge. Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI, including dashboard design and data modeling. Proven track record of managing multiple projects and driving business-facing technology solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business
requirements into technical solutions. Technical skills with SQL and Excel; Python or other scripting experience a plus. Familiarity with data pipeline technologies and orchestration tools Experience evaluating, implementing, or configuring AI-enabled solutions to augment key business processes is preferred. Compensation: Expected Annual Base Salary $115,000 - $150,000 Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience,
qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual
bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance. Bain Capital offers a competitive
