In this role, you will own the monthly close cycle, deliver consolidated financial statements, and ensure full IFRS compliance across the group. Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, you will be a key pillar of the Finance team — bridging day-to-day accounting operations with statutory and group reporting
requirements. Your Tasks Financial Close & Reporting Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Manage the end-to-end monthly close process, including accruals, tax calculations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely completion within scheduled soft-close dates. Maintain continuous review of general ledger postings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Controls & Compliance Review monthly closing workpapers and ensure adherence to CCP’s global accounting policies and procedures. Ensure timely completion of documentation for external auditors and manage subsidiary audits in cooperation with the Global Financial Controller. Assist with corporate income tax compliance and reporting and liaise with tax advisors as required. Stakeholder Support Respond to enquiries from finance colleagues and cross-functional managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests. Support continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and controls. Your Profile M. Acc. degree or equivalent; 3+ years of relevant experience. Strong working knowledge of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting. Experience managing a close process in a multinational environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics or similar). High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills in English; Icelandic is an advantage.
