About the role
We are looking for a Senior Counsel, Health Tech with 8+ years of deep healthcare regulatory and health tech transactional experience to serve as the primary legal advisor for our growing roster of health tech clients. You'll join an AI-native law firm that's reimagining how legal services are delivered — combining your specialized expertise with modern tooling to do the best work of your career.
What will you be doing?
- Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for health tech clients across HIPAA, compliance, and healthcare regulatory matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate BAAs and other healthcare-specific contracts (vendor, data-sharing, health data agreements)
- Build and maintain healthcare contract templates, precedent libraries, and standard documents integrated into the firm's AI-native workflows
- Develop training materials and lead sessions for other attorneys who encounter healthcare questions in their broader work
- Provide practical guidance on FDA and digital health regulatory frameworks to health tech founders and teams
Key Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing
- 8+ years of focused experience in healthcare regulatory and health tech transactional work (top-tier firm, leading in-house health tech role, or regulatory agency background)
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating BAAs and healthcare-specific contracts
- Encyclopedic knowledge of HIPAA, FDA, and digital health regulatory frameworks with current awareness
- Currently using AI tools in legal practice (not just theoretically) and comfortable with AI-native workflows
