Field Service Engineers work with our Service and Engineering teams to address issues at customer sites. This role reports to the Field Service Engineering Manager. We are looking to hire someone currently located in Germany. Proximity to southern Germany—particularly around Nuremberg, Regensburg, or Ansbach, including areas closer to the eastern border—is preferred but not required. Please note: A valid German passport is required for this role. Responsibilities: Frequent travel 75-90% to perform onsite equipment installs, maintenance, and upgrades. Familiarizing customer of product usage and care Develop processes and documentation for standard service actions Recognize trends and patterns in field failures and feedback to the development team to drive future designs Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure new issues are fully investigated and those countermeasures are in place Provide support to engineering and manufacturing teams as needed Availability for occasional off-hours calls and work Ability to travel Internationally Requirements: 5+ years of relevant experience BS in engineering field preferred but not required Must have hands-on approach Ability to read electrical schematic and mechanical drawings Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical/electrical systems Strong customer service experience required Personal car required Passport required You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
